The quadcopter Phantom 2 Version 2.0 is the latest generation of DJI and has built-in a highly precise stabilizing flight system.
The copter is designed to carrying static or dynamically gyro-stabilized gimbal for camera. With installed gimbal on the drone you can mount your camera and capture amazing videos from aerial perspective. Phantom 2 supports and can control Zenmuse family gyro-stabilized gimbals (H3-2D,H3-3D,H4-3D) – that allows stabilization of the camera and eliminates all vibrations during flight.
Phantom 2 relies on a complex navigation and positioning systems like GPS, compass, and other data to maintain flight and hovering stability to provide assisted-flying features. Fully manual operation is possible (can be unlocked using the Assistant Software), but default is GPS Altitude Mode – the copter controls stability in horizontal and vertical position and if the Return-To-Home is enabled (via R.C.) autopilot will return the aircraft back to its starting point, when the signal from the controller is lost or until it establishes a connection with the remote control again.
The Phantom’s 2 Version 2.0 intelligent control system gives amazing functionality. GPS module is constantly working to determine where the Phantom 2 Version 2.0 is and by pressing a button on the remote control, the drone returns to its starting position (Home point), which is preset by the user.
All motors from DJI are with reverse thread, allowing the blades to hose constantly at work. This provides exceptional stability and reliability during the flight and prevents any incidents with the propellers of the quadcopter.
Innovative battery from DJI – DJI Intelligent Battery has diagnostic system that checks the battery charge and functionality of the system before the flight, to make sure that the flight will be smooth and without any incidents. Intelligent battery is sufficient for 25 minute flight!
